I visited Cuba in 2005 with the idea to photograph everything I could. I had the idea that since Fidel was getting older things could suddenly take a turn and Cuba would never be the same.
I walked almost 12 hours a day visiting and getting lost in all kinds of neighborhoods. The idea was not to take a postcard photo but just to document a bit of what I saw. I used a 35mm film camera.

Cultural events are hosted on this alley, artist Salvador Gonzales has painted
all walls and has sculptures all thru the alley. The murals and sculptures are inspired by santeria.
